Cornish Last Light

 

I have had a go at painting waves with a lot more definition and appreciation of colour. This oil painting on panel board is approximately 44cm x 18cm. I quite like the high contrast in the painting.

View Toward Tamar Crossing

I have enjoyed painting this view looking toward the Tamar Crossing with small sailing boats in sunset. I felt the horizon line on the right side needed a little more definition so that the town of Saltash is clearer and together with the central sailboat I feel the result below is more pleasing to the eye.
